I am SO tired of this bullshit that Asians have to deal with in the media. Sure, we don’t have some of the struggles that other people of color have but it’s a bitter pill to swallow whenever we see our culture ridiculed and mocked and whitewashed.

Considering the time period in which the original story takes place and the lack of Sino-European interaction for at least a millenium (and even Rome was through intermediary empires), writing in a white is just wrong on every level.

Um what? You’ve deff got the wrong idea about Avatar and young aang. And no Toph didn’t save anything the show, it was doing amazing before after and during her introduction to the show. Not that she isn’t awesome. Its actually the Legend of Korra which is known to be the lesser of the two shows :/

Sorry, but after a very disappointing second half of the first season, and the god-awful second season, I’m not wasting any more time on Korra. Don’t really care how good it gets after that. Korra didn’t hold a candle to the Last Airbender.
