I’ve been part of two large corporations (Amazon being one of them) and HR is usually a pretty good bet. The serialized storytelling doesn’t bother me.  DS9 did it right, weaving an overall plot with standalones.  But what I’m most hopeful for is a Trek that recaptures that sense of optimism and adventure that still recognizes humanity’s shortcomings (but shows we can overcome them).
