My previous car was a CPO 2008 with chrome wheels. Make sure you get ceramic brake pads if it doesn’t already have them, the stock pads dust just as bad as an Audi (I moved to an S4, sometimes miss the comfy ride of the Lexus)
Pretty cool other than lacking detail on the drivetrain. And the homemade Ferrari flag in the garage reminded me of this
They should be selling Hulkaburgers
Crockett and Tubbs approve
6 yrs, 5-1/2 were the highest paying yet worst time of my career. Money isn’t everything.
Couldn’t have happened to a better company. Their solution to this will be to have 4 engineers on every train and have a backup train
I love my ‘14 S4, add an ECU tune and upgraded sway bars and it drives like a dream. Not converting it to an Avant though.
Pontiac Catalina maybe?
Guy in my fraternity dated a broke girl who had one that same color with a rust hole in the fender you could fit your entire arm through. She was banned from parking at the house but not before he got her pregnant.
There are some people that have converted B8.5 Allroads to lower suspension and either painted the cladding or replaced bodywork with European parts
Reincarnated as Austin Yellow
I have a B8.5 S4 with the 3.0T, it is a pretty bulletproof engine. Add an APR stage 1 tune like I have and you will benefit from additional torque higher in the revband to make passing a delight. You don’t want to mess with replacing OEM rotors or air suspension on the S6, as you said it is more of a muscle cruiser.
It’s been done before
Instead of second or third car upgrade your suspension and wheels. Mine is now perfect
The week of car week and if they do the same as before on the week of Rennsport, they have a full open house where you can walk the shop floor, normally you can just overlook it from a balcony above. His museum and showroom are two separate rooms that are always open. I contacted them through their Facebook page…
Also pics from our trip
They did it Saturday afternoon after track events were over around 4:30. It was a nice day so we skipped it and drove down PCH almost all the way to Big Sur, only later did I realize what we missed
The paddock is open to walk through, only vips etc can get into the pit lane/hot pits. I got the rev limiter pass which basically got you close to the pit lane wall at the exit but felt it was kind of a waste.Do not miss the pit lane concours if they have it again, it will be crowded but your best chance to get close…
I went 3 years ago, can’t make it this year. If you have time go to Canepa’s open house outside of Santa Cruz; that, RRV and cruising PCH in a Boxster S from Turo made for a bucket list weekend
