Also keep in mind that while 40 lbs seems like a giant number, it’s basically equivalent to an extra 300 calories a day for those 18 months. So like a bag of M&Ms. Or 2 cans of beer. It’s not hard to over-consume that much. You’re not some ginormous failure for gaining weight.

I lost about 80 lbs over several years. Office Magic’s suggestion is a really good one. Pick like 1 or 2 habits you want to change, and then focus on those. When they become typical behavior instead of something you have to actively work on, add a new habit.

You know if the GSA did do some sort of massive effort to get housing for these girls’ families it would be all over conservative media as socialism and leftist indoctrination!
