Gotta say, the rest of the US isn't doing much better.
I'm going to say Obi-Wan Kenobi, because I was just rewatching Hardware Wars, and the funniest, most spot-on moment is where Oggie Ben Doggie tells them, "Nah, you guys go on without me," and they're all like "Martyr!". Obi-Wan goes into a trap for no good reason that I can see, and instead of just trying to distract…
Lilly and Leon have enlisted the aid of their baby Oscar, along with cardboard, paper bags, massive amounts of tape,…
We watch this daily in my home. Sometimes on repeat.
Everyone likes to complain about the later seasons but NOTHING detracts from the genius of The Simpsons.
Okay, I think I understand now. You two, Blackjinx and Dylonlus Funk, think promise rings are pre-engagement rings. The article is about promise rings, which are also known as purity rings. No one cares about your pre-engagement ring. Reading for context is awesome!
House = Homes
Maybe not the greatest detective that ever lived, but one of my favorites to read about, certainly!
As I point out above, it's not that I don't believe this happens, or that Joss wasn't thinking about it for some time prior to when it happened. The problem is it was clumsily done and didn't really seem to follow from her previous character. For instance, Evil Vampire Willow seems (again) to be a more bisexual…
I agree, but that's my whole point. Willow never seemed to be struggling with her identity (in the sexual sense) until all of a sudden boom: Gay now. We saw her struggle on a number of other levels, but she seemed quite happy with her sexuality whenever it was expressed early in the series.
I never hated Dawn. She seemed natural and an evolution to the overall story. Annoying yes, hated no. That was her purpose.
Sure, he's a spoiled rich kid who's not quite as funny as he thinks he is — but he is the only one of the kids that can be funny on purpose. Plus, he saves everybody's life an average of three times per episode. Eric the Cavalier is a pain in the ass, and he's a cavalier without a horse which is just wrong on a…
Yep. She had the potential to be New-Who's best companion to date ... but mostly the writers overplayed the generally uninteresting unrequited crush she had on the Doctor. She deserved a lot better.
They had begun setting up Dawn in Season Four with the dreams that Buffy had with Faith and Tara, the making the bed scenes and whatnot. Even a line in the last dream sequence with Tara where she tells Buffy to get home before dawn... so that was all pretty cool
I love John Bauer. His paintings tend to crop up almost everywhere in Sweden.
Farscape spent 4-5 episodes making it clear that Crais was becoming more and more disgruntled with the Peacekeepers, then they introduced Scorpius who not only clearly stated his goal was to take over Crais' carrier, but physically tortured him.
*Angel spoilers below*
Curse your sudden but inevitable comment!
Bonus, it was a two part movie that you can now enjoy thanks to YouTube
