Doesnt mean they should get a pass though. I like seeing a nice side to humanity too but if steam allows these positive review bombs to stay then we may as well go back and reapply all the negative reviews borderlands got for the EGS controversy.

Great reporting! Streaming / YouTube culture for games geared at a younger audience seems like very fertile ground for this type of abuse to take place

Stuff like this is why I still come to this site. I want so many more dives in game development stories like this. It's usually frustrating but always illuminating

Im worried that the Atgames iterations of this has marred public perception of a Sega mini. It is encouraging to see they’ve dropped them as developers but I don’t know if that’s enough damage control.

Im the exact opposite, I think borderlands one and the Pre-Sequel had the perfect balance of humor and darkness, bl2 went a little overboard with the memes, and some of the dialogue was just painful.

Yikes. Life in Aggro and Double XP were flipping painful this week. 

After so many issues from atgames regarding quality in their products I have no idea how they're still in business.

Good. I think it’s smart to be talking about future games and not focus too much on battlefront 2 at this point.

Still willing to wait longer for kinder work conditions for the studio. Other than that I’m glad the heat is on to deliver. Destiny 2 and battlefront 2 better turn Bioware and especially E.A. on to the idea that the real money is in quality and generosity. Players sustain the game.
