OFF TOPIC - Anyone drive a 2012 TSX 6spd with the 2.4L or a 2014 ILX with the 2.4L and 6spd from the Civic SI?
I was thinking to myself, now to my keyboard, damn $35,000 is a lot of cash for a Civic. If this was AWD I probably could be convinced it was a logical STi, Golf R, Evo (RIP) type car tuner car. $35k for FWD this thing better really have some genius behind it.
OR Tavarish method. Wait 8 years buy used off some guy named Doug for 1/4 original MSRP. Taadaaa
That’s a lot of horsepower! More like 190-220hp with a 7500-8400 red line.
Hopefully this driver GE Fit prices down! This car just screams Subbie to me. I like it overall but wish it was more the understated look the Type R once possessed along with a screaming NA 4cyl.
Jalop readers - lets pool our money and buy Plymouth from FCA. We could create great wonders together like a new Neon, Prowler, and PT Cruiser. Think of the opportunity if we, as Jalops, come together for the greater good.
Please look into the impeachment process and the burden of proof needed. You are way off with the process.
I feel the same. The bailout and cash for clunkers I was against full heartedly. Of course when I understood the gov wouldn’t let theses companies go under like BOA, CITI, GM I took advantage and bought ample stock shares. BOA at $4. I don’t want to see the gov give money to Fisker because well its Fisker they are on…
From YJ Jeeps to NA Miatas. 1990's the Golden Era of the automobile.
Makes me remember air pump style emissions of the 70's. They were junk and everyone ripped them out of course.
Yeah I wouldn’t touch the 2.0 but the 1.4 made me look twice.
Just kidding. Awesome I was hoping they would end up being good for the money. Just looking for a reliable daily driver.
1. 2008 Cadillac STS 2. 2004 Sierra 1500 V8 4wd with plow, 3. 1995 Miata R package 4. 2002 Corvette Z06 5. 1972 Chevelle crap 6. Harley 1200XLC
Holy crap huge leap there. Where did I say the EPA was an Epic waste of money. I said SOME in my post not all. I do feel ALL govt agencies should look at themselves and see what they can cut and trim to spend less money. Look at all the cuts some can absolutely be cut back or are redundant.
The conspiracy grows.
Just saw a used 2016 Jetta 1.4S with 11k on it for $12,000 kinda interests me as a cheapo daily driver for when I don’t have the toys on the road.
Kinda shocked no one recommended a Z3!
I seriously would recommend a second generation Honda Fit base manual reliability, perky, and practical. Also the ability to drive stick is clutch.
16yo male with a Miata and it was great. Not a lot of power to kill yourself, no room for a ton of friends to pile in and go get hammered in the woods, no backseat so you don’t become a grandfather prematurely.
