I had an awesome experience with overbooking this past New Years Eve. The two of us used my United miles to get free flights from Dallas to Montreal. On the way back home we had a 10:00am flight, but it was oversold. We volunteered to take a flight at 2:00pm instead. To compensate us they gave us each $50 in food

Great advice. I also do this for job promotions, too. I’ve been at my current employer for a little less than a year, and I’ve been given a raise and a promotion. The day after I took the promotion I edited my LinkedIn profile with my new title, etc., and copied the dang job description in there too.

My thoughts exactly.

Until your HOA says something to you.

I had so many scratches on my iPhone X after one week that apple replaced it for free. Now I walk around with a screen protector and no case. I love the look and feel of the iPhone X without a case. Still looks flawless.

This game seems interesting. What system would I find it on? Windows, OSX, Steam, Switch, Playstation..?

Is there an Apple Watch companion app for this? I use the Nike Run Club app on my watch so that I don’t have to bring my phone on my runs. If there’s an Apple Watch app I’d try this one out too, for diversity’s sake.

Yes, audiobooks FTW! My commute went from 8 minutes to 45 minutes when I took my new job. Started listening to audiobooks and now I look forward to my commute to and from work each day. I truly enjoy the time spent in the car

Gorgeous

I have the Sapphire Preferred and the United Mileage Plus Explorer cards, and I fly United pretty much exclusively. I’m incentivized to pay for my flights with the United card for the free check bag (which I never use), and priority boarding. Maybe this will convince me to start shifting my airline purchases to the

First of all, Return To Oz is pure gold. Love that movie, and I’ve seen it a dozen times (maybe more?). I wish more people knew about it, though.

I’m wondering how much hurt I’m doing to myself by taking advantage of the income-based repayment option. I have about $50k in student loans from my Masters degree, at 6.8% interest.

This looks delicious and simple. I’ll have to give it a try. Do you do anything special to the rice?

My favorite pork recipe (maybe my favorite recipe for anything that I make, period), is Jamaican Jerk pulled pork with Caribbean salsa:

Yeah, but I don’t have room in my tine kitchen for another cooking device. I barely have room for my sous vide machine :-(

Yes to the Brazialian pao de queijo! Kroger sells these frozen ones called Brazi bites. So delicious! They actually got their start on Shark Tank.

I see your point, and I feel like I have a decent workaround. There are so many small bills (i.e. electricity, water, internet, Netflix, etc.) that if I don’t have them on auto-pay it’s likely that one could get missed.

Sorry to be picky, but the name of the company that Best Buy hired is actually The Retail Equation. “The” is an official part of their legal corporate name.

I love to run, but I hate running on a treadmill. I get so bored, even if the TV is on at the gym. But I downloaded the Nike Run Club app on my Apple Watch and gave it a go on the treadmill, because it’s too cold to be outside.

Or keeping with the diet friendly trend you could use turkey bacon, and maybe some greens (spinach?)
