I'm VERY excited for this show. But man, do I miss models.

Huh. The "worst" of Steven and Connie is an interesting idea, but it wouldn't be a pseudo-suave "lady's man" like Kevin. It would be an impatient hedonistic know-it-all. Oh wait, Renaldo.
Move on, man.
There have been a handful of episodes that have helped me in my personal life. It's like cartoon therapy!
Steven was "practicing" shifting gears at the very beginning of the episode. Maybe his dad had taught him?
It was about moving past trauma.
That's funny, I thought it was the heaviest of the week.
He was objectified, treated as a sexual object. Very dark for a cartoon but handled with such authenticity and balance that it really works. This show about aliens understands humans.
My god, that was beautiful. Once again the show finds a way to hpnestly deal with what it is like to be a victim of a very serious thing without getting too dark but still keeping it real. I will be rewatching this episode a lot.
how do you keep up with the news like that?
Black Phillip.
one of the things I liked about the film. Maybe we can retroactively call STID a mirror universe motive?
STID seems refreshingly absent from the canon. It fell into the same black hole that ate TMP and TFF.
The sabotage stuff was fine. It's basically "let's jam their hive mind," which everyone has seen a million times in sci-fi. So they added some music. Big deal. Not brilliant, not awful. But fun to watch.
spoiler spaces are a place to give the masses a chance to speak after seeing the film, the lead text is just functionary.
Totally serious. I've found some old 70s porn set to Chopin and its marvelous.
classical music and historical settings.
strongly reminded me of "on my own" from Les Mis.
I found it a stylized choice rather than a lazy thing. I agree it wasnt my favorite choice though.
This is why I purposefully limit my exposure to the internet fandom. These things are so much more fun going into them without knowing anything about what to expect.
