That is probably because you are 10 years older now than you were 10 years ago! It would be more relevant to look at the wages of someone with the same age and experience now as you were then, adjusted for inflation.

Does/should Total War: Three Kingdoms include white characters?

That was my thought throughout. The combat looks so one-sided.

I get the feeling the prequel trilogy is being re-evaluated somewhat in light of Disney’s efforts. Turns out following up some of the best movies of all time isn’t that easy!

How is it that they are so unprofitable, given that they are pretty much ubiquitous now, their app works fine and their business isn’t exactly complicated?  Is all the money just going on R&D for self-driving vehicles?

I’m glad it was Arya. “Not today” is a great callback, and a great humanist statement too.

My theory: this was their revenge on all the people who’ve made it the most pirated show of all time.  No way you’re going to enjoy this on torrent full of compression artifacts, suckers!

So you go there on a date and there’s an 18% tax for the man’s meal... but since it’s a feminist restaurant, the woman is expected to pay for them both :)

Hey I already did that one!

Their programmers were so preoccupied with whether they could add Proceratosaurus to the game, that they didn’t stop to think whether they should add Proceratosaurus to the game.

Palpatine is the best Star Wars character, so I’m down with all this whatever bullshit they have make up to justify it.  Unlimited power!!!

In the Anthem article it didn’t feel like the standard narrative of “EA ruins everything it touches because of greed” really fitted. It sounded like Bioware messed that one up all by themselves.

It always felt like the sort of thing I would like, in theory, but I never found it compelling. The protagonists are too overpowered and I don’t really care about them.

Lot of people saying people should get over all the inconveniences of the Epic store because it’s great for developers, but as an indie dev I don’t agree. There is no process for me to submit my game to the Epic store right now, and whenever they get around to adding that there’s no guarantee they’ll accept it. But by

I’m convinced easy mode does ruin some types of games for a lot of people, particularly I’m thinking of immersive sims. Or any game where you have a choice between combat, and non-combat techniques such as stealth, hacking, etc.

Streaming yourself playing a video game is more like streaming yourself playing football in the park using NFL rules, which would not be theft.

    I notice they’re still naked

How about Saurian?  Haven’t played it but it looked interesting.

This reminds me somewhat of the photographs of Amanda Knox smiling that were spread around the world and used to insinuate that she must be guilty. You shouldn’t assume you know everything about a person just because you saw a still frame photograph of them smiling.

The Phantom Menace was a good movie, we have just been brainwashed by groupthink to believe otherwise.
