You’re exactly right. Kojima doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The “Cut” refers to the edit as a whole, and doesn’t explicitly mean anything has been “cut” from the film.

Why all the laughter, Mr. Squid?
I’m sure more people would be behind this movement if the acronym was phrased in a way that cast blame on the system, not the individual.
Yeah, it makes zero sense. It’s releasing for PC and Mobile: the platforms that are the easiest to pirate and emulate the original games on, but not on modern consoles. I just wish they would remake all of these games in the “Octopath Traveller” style that the Dragon Quest III remake is using.
The trick is to play it casually like it was always intended. People who treat TF2 like it’s supposed to be a finely balanced esport are playing it for the wrong reason.
I’m praying that articles like these don’t make ASMR mainstream.
Rest in peace to the sequel, which was just cancelled recently.
What is an “ace”? I’ve never heard that term before.
inb4 the Crypto-nerds show up and give us a healthy does of “umm, ackchewally”.
Yeah, I live in Southern California where owning a vehicle is pretty much mandatory, and it seems like a necessary evil more than anything “freeing”.
Where before she had nothing—no family, no friends, no hobbies, and no genuinely loved possessions—now she has her Super Cub.
Considering Kentaro Miura basically worked himself to death, I’d say all folks who have worked as hard as Sakurai are due for an early retirement. I don’t live in Japan, so I don’t know firsthand what the work expectations are, but I really believe there needs to be some sort of change so people have more than 2 days…
I’ve timestamped an interesting area of this podcast. Two guys who live in Japan explain a bit of how Covid is being handled in Japan (at least accurate to how it was back in March). It’s really fascinating to hear, even if it’s a small glimpse.
I have non-prescription blue blockers and they definitely help with eye fatigue for me. I doubt they’re some sort of placebo. Blue light may not be literally killing my eyes, but it certainly makes my eyes more tired.
Non fighting game fan here, and I’m genuinely curious: what is so appealing about these new fighting games?
Damn, I’m glad I imported those Oda Non hentai figures while I had the chance, lol.
A Youtuber made two videos that address this topic thoroughly (albeit focusing more on the entertainment and media side of things) and I’m all for abolishing IP now that I’ve seen them.
I think it’s just passion for what they love. However, that passion becomes too much and they share the project before it’s complete, giving the rights holders opportunity to kill it before it’s done.
Ah, that’s good to hear. Fingers crossed!
As with anything Anno creates, I’m excited to see it. I just hope they’re accessible here in North America. Given Godzilla’s popularity in the US, I totally get why Shin Godzilla was released here, but I’m skeptical that studios will commit to localizing Shin Ultraman and Shin Kamen Rider.
