It was United First Class.  BWI to LAX.  And my friend and I bought tickets separately.  He upgraded late and got the last seat in first class.

I typically ask why, but if I don’t get a response right away, I try to look for other signs like if they got hurt.  Besides that, I just tell them that when they are ready to talk, I’ll be here.  If they want to be held, I’m there and won’t ask them anything.

I think they will need to be better than good to survive. This whole product is out of sync with Apple and its core businesses.
