The Sir Dontos bit just about broke me. I don't know why that was the thing that undid me this episode, but his despair being so deep that Sansa was a beacon of hope even in her own mire... it hurt.

Lady Olenna is my inspiration for aging, along with BSG's Ellen Tigh. And I was so excited to see Brienne and Margaery get a scene together, finally. They have such interestingly different takes on power and gender.

But you'd be in the best mood to empathize with Cercei! I think wine is her bff now.

Was that the same "friend" of Baelish's that seduced Sir Loras last season? I was totally in it for him back then and was hoping we'd get some more.

I forgot they made a fourth one and now I'm sad. D:

An interesting thing about celebrity crushes is that they can be totally unfixed in time.

It was black and white, and the cameras were all WW2-era. It was supposed to just be about lighting but clearly it was about a lot more than that.

Were you at ECCC? Wasn't she just incredible? I swooned throughout her panel.

I participated in an experiment of this nature once. We shot some 16 mm film with the only black girl at the NYFA summer program and myself, the whitest of the white. I felt weird about it, but my god I bet she felt weirder. It was interesting for me to see myself washed out, her washed out... the two of us unable to

Good things come to those who wait and burn their dragon eggs on their husband's funeral pyre.

Can you give me their website? ...for reference.

Every woman yearns for children. 'Children' is a broad category that includes baby dragons and the endearing sound of silence.

How can a man dress in a provocative manner? In general, when I browse menswear isles and websites, I don't see "sexy" clothing. I mean, unless you're going this far

I just got some cortizone eczema lotion which is helping a tad, as is bendadryl. And I think I'm going to take an oatmeal bath today and then coat myself in some all-purpose moisturizer. I imagine the lack of sleep from the sinus allergies isn't helping. Ugh ugh.

This is making me feel a little better as I slather my body in every reparative skin cream I can find. Allergies are destroying both my sinuses and my skin right now and the cosmetic aspect is certainly a factor in the stress. I love wearing shorts but right now my whole body is a minefield of hives and eczema patches.

This makes me wish I had funnier food service stories. But it reminds me of my bff's confusion when a customer insisted on being served an assorted muffin, and was incredibly indignant when asked which one he'd like.

My throbbing, juicy sinuses could have told me this.

There was a question on the WA Food Handler's Permit quiz that asked why food handlers had to wear gloves. One of the answers was "because customers like to see the staff wearing gloves." I laughed at the time, but it seems more true than not now.

Can you imagine trying to market a movie that requires you to watch seven seasons of TV to be able to understand the plot? A series of three movies is bad enough.

Game of Bones actually looked better.
