The Batman and Superman of the ‘40s is not the current day Batman and Superman. The Batman created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane was essentially The Shadow. He evolved a lot since then, outgrowing the original Shadow-knockoff that he was, and into having a No-Killing policy that he has stuck with for the past fifty…
None of Lois’s photographers ever return (alive) from an assignment with her. A long series of accidental and incidental deaths, for which she bears — ahem — no responsibility, whatsoever.
Perhaps Michael Bay was unavailable.
Logically, the Joker should be the only one who isn’t a killer.
Seriously.. no wonder the dude got wrecked by the Joker. One well-placed bullet... you know, out of halberd’s reach... and HAHAHA JOKE’S ON YOU BATMAN. Umm.. what joke? Dude took a halberd to a fight with anything but a halberd that could take him out.
Has Lois Lane killed anyone yet? I would have thought Alfred, but he for sure has killed guys.
In other news the canadian dollar is up to 78 cents US...the highest it has been since Harper imploded the economy.
See, America, we Canadians also have people who rush past the point of an article just so they can sling partisanship at a person involved in it!
It would help fuel the rivalry between her and Kylo.
Sure. Because where would there have been more Jedi hanging out during Eps 4-6 that could’ve been Rey’s grandparents?
Then what’s the point of hiding it? The mystery around her parentage was deliberate - she has no last name, she was abandoned in Jakku by people we don’t see, she repeatedly tells us about the family she’s waiting for, etc. why set up all that to reveal she’s actually Rey Nobody, the daughter of Bob and Betty Nobody,…
Hasn’t Star Wars, or at least this nine part story, always been and intended to be about the Skywalker family though? She’s gotta be related somehow.
But then she was still special. All we know as canon is that she had a virgin birth, something completely unheard of, and her kid was created by the Force itself. If it was single mother whose husband walked out and it just turned out Anakin was just good with the Force she would be unremarkable.
But that does make her remarkable. If it was some single mother and the father walked out it would be ordinary but a virgin birth does make her remarkable and ‘special’.
Well, yeah, but that doesn’t take into account the fact that the movies would be foolish to focus on all the completely unremarkable parents who gave us the rest of the heroes and villains we’ve seen. I mean, I love Ahsoka, but I don’t want the story to focus on telling us about her hippie Togruta parents.
Your way of think is just wrong... The question is how a japanese should look like an anime... Try answer that question and see how strange your question sounds.
Well I can’t speak for my fellow white people, but I always perceive Anime characters as Asian, often even when they aren’t supposed to be.
I can’t find any links, but I remember hearing about sociology research that shows most white people perceive anime characters to be white. That is the “default human” after all. Non-white people (in the US at least) were more likely to perceive the characters as Asian.
I’ve watched tons of anime over the years, but never lived in Japan, and I’m thoroughly confused by the fact characters are supposed to be Japanese, but they are all drawn with white characteristics. Characters like Ichigo and Orihime are obviously white, especially compared to other characters like Byakuya, right?…
