That is really weird. I haven’t had trouble with sticking in years. I don’t cook fish though, so who knows.

Do you oil the pan before you put in the meat?

We should call windows “privacy holes” to make them scarier for people who thought they were just a nice way to let light into their homes.

It can take a few minutes for the beta access to process in the Play Store. Or something.

Not compatible with the 2014 Moto X. Darn.

The wording is super weird, but the book actually acknowledges that fact and says that it is all intentional. Hard to say whether that was meant to include all of the strangeness, though.

The book made me yawn quite a bit at certain points, but I didn’t feel like I was in danger of actually falling asleep. Might have worked better on my if I had been listening, rather than reading.

There is an audio version on Amazon.

Bought it and tried it twice. Pro tip: if your kid is screaming, it doesn’t work. If you can get him/her to calm down enough to actually listen, it does work. Had to loop back around to the beginning to get him all the way to sleep, but he was docile enough to be willing to lay down in his crib about halfway through

I don’t understand how manufacturers can still get away with selling phones that have 8GB or 16GB options, let alone without a microSD slot.

Klingon Academy actually did a really good job as well. I never even finished that game and I still have fond memories of it.

Reminds me of a match I played the other day on Cursed Hollow. We lost almost every single tribute, but managed to take a couple of bosses that, combined with our awesome Gazlowe, won us the match just as they took the last tribute that would’ve spelled our doom.

I am generally ok with the fluid nature of language, but that is a perversion of the English language and I refuse to acknowledge that change.

Yeah, but the point is that his being an asshole still does more for animal conservation than your caring does.

I second this. I love the way the bamboo looks, but I don’t love the cracks in my screen.

Working is easier when you’re young. I know I don’t want to have to slog through a workday when I’m 60, let alone when I’m 70 or older. I try to maintain a balance between saving/investing and spending, but I also try to remember how easy it is to fall into the trap of thinking that everything I find easy now will be

It is strange and hilarious how much this happens.

Fireballs in space are impossible (without an oxygen source), but explosions are totally possible (and, if anything, would be more powerful in a vaccum).

It’s like none of these people have ever taken a photo in their lives.

No stars in the background? Have you never taken a photo? No camera (but especially not a camera that is 10 years old) is capable of the same dynamic range as the human eye. Take a photo of the night sky with the moon properly exposed and you won’t see any stars. Does that mean the night sky is a hoax?
