This works with suits as well, in my experience, and doesn't seem to fade too much over the course of an internship. Can't speak for very long-term use though.

I'm not sure what makes them think that their regular app runs well on ANY phones. Facebook is the slowest app by far on my 2014 Moto X.

Isn't "weird" just "not what a person would have expected"?

My Surface Pro 3 came bloatware free.

My Surface Pro 3 didn't come with any bloatware at all.

I haven't watched the show in a few years, but I've assumed that promotions were pretty rare because there was no way to maintain a sane command structure with a never-changing crew. Though Kim was already a bridge officer, and Paris got promoted from prisoner to lieutenant, if I recall correctly, so... yeah.

... I'm not arguing with you that mailing a copy is a bad idea because it is worthless.

Haven't seen those either, but maybe that's just because my local hardware stores don't feel like carrying anything over 60 watts.

Why don't I ever see any 80 watt equivalent LED bulbs? I tried replacing the bulb in one of my lamps with an LED bulb and the 60 watt equivalent (which was the brightest I could find) just wasn't bright enough.

I didn't say that mailing yourself a copy was a smart or useful strategy. I was just pointing out that there's a pretty big difference in the cost of registering a copyright between the actual amount and your stated amount, and that someone who produces a lot of work might have trouble keeping up with the cost of

I think the fee is actually $35 to e-register a single work. That's $35 per photo, short story, blog post, video, drawing, etc. That's pretty hard for most people to swing even if they aren't particularly prolific.

The lightsaber actually kind of makes sense when you take into account the fact that it is meant to be used by someone who can use the force. The limited precognition that the force gives a Jedi turns the lightsaber into an excellent defensive weapon (and the Jedi basically only fought defensively), since it can

Yeah but... ow.

Yeah, but the inertial dampers combined with seatbelts could result in fewer broken bones.

What if a person uses voice typing?

I've never seen that happen, but I'd imagine that they'd only get angry if that were brought up to make the point that it wasn't such a big deal that 6 million Jews died, because 6 million other people died as well, which is exactly the kind of argument that the above comic was referring to.

For a minute there, I thought this was going to be about my interpretation of this. It isn't, and this guy did it better :P

The "hovering button" apps are pretty cool when taken one at a time, but it gets a bit crazy when you have more than one going on...

I've just never heard of dairy being good for reducing gas, ever. I've only ever heard stories of it causing gas.

Dairy products reduce flatulence? Not for the lactose intolerant, they don't. I have intermittent and mild lactose intolerance and let me tell you that under the wrong circumstances, dairy is the last thing you want me to consume right before a flight...
