so do you actually need 300 feet to indicate you are changing lanes into the turn lane, then another 300 feet in the turn lane to indicate you are turning? (or 200 feet in the turn lane if i am under 50 mph)

it got me out of a speeding ticket and a turn signal violation by using my math.. so math pwns.

BTW i wasn’t speeding at 90+ mph i was going 60 in a 67 and the Indiana State Police officer said i didn’t use my turn signal for 300 feet.. so i used math to show them my tap to turn (i was changing lanes) did not blink…

Yes it’s a dumb law. I don’t have a “feet traveled” meter in my car so how i am supposed to know when i have gone 300 feet. Also what if the turn lane is only 180 feet... ?
