I assume it’s a liability thing. He could sue (and maybe get to court) on the merit that his conviction being tossed out means it isn’t technically true. Though as a celebrity I doubt he could make a strong enough case for libel.
There were plenty of “Famous” people who have stood by him -
He could of never been convicted without the use of his own testimony against him. The conviction needed to be overturned, Bill Cosby is wrong as two left shoes but that doesn’t mean that prosecutors should be allowed to take an any mean necessary approach to convict. We cant ask that our police forces to stop…
You know nothing about my concern. You know nothing about my identity so kindly keep your baseless accusations to yourself, ‘son’. My sister was raped and murdered. Thanks for telling me how I’m ALLOWED to feel about the subject. Yu really are a horrible human being. I’m sorry for whatever happened to you to make you…
I know that I’d already known about them by the time Hannibal said it, but honestly don’t remember how long I’d known about it.
Legally, it appears to be the correct decision. In this case, the civil suit in which he testified was apparently the civil suit filed by the victim in this same criminal case. Usually the D.A. wouldn’t give someone an agreement not to prosecute unless that person was acting as a witness for the D.A. in a criminal…
That’s depressing, but is it really a generational thing?
Cosby drugs and rapes 60 women.
A perfect example of why we don’t want prosecutors who cut corners.
How is it that this fucker gets sent home immediately whereas a man who has served 40+ years in jail for a crime he did NOT commit, as agreed to by all kinds of people including the ones who actually did it, will still be in jail at least until the beginning of September? I wish I remembered his name.
Rashad celebrated on Twitter. I'm okay with calling her a pathetic bitch
To all the white people that I have already seen polluting my TV screen and phone telling me how unfair this whole thing is, congratulations you now know how the families of hundreds and thousands of other black families have felt watching the justice system rip their hearts out. Oh can we not hear from Rose McGowan…
Yep. Don’t blame Cosby. He’s still a rapist, but the legal system happened to work in his favor this time.
The justice system did screw it up big time here. And it sucks. It especially sucks for the women that he raped. It sucks for all women who were raped, because of what this implies in the future as well.
Although she is a trustee, she doesn't have a hand in controlling Britney's estate. The only control is she will be in charge (and legally required to) of giving Britney's money to her sons AFTER her death. And I don't mean to come across as indifferent to Britney's suffering, but considering the close relationship…
Do you think Jamie Lynn entered showbiz because it was her personal dream? All of this comes down to the parents.
As others have noted, Jamie Lynn wasn’t even involved in the conservatorship until 2018, so tickets from 2012 are irrelevant in terms of taking financial advantage of her position as conservator.
Damn, clearly most people here have never had to deal with a mentally ill family member. The vitriol aimed at this young woman is gross
Given that Jamie Lynn was 17 when this all started and pregnant or just had her first child I give her the benefit of the doubt.
