not really delusional no, some cops do good work but if you’re only experience with law enforcement is watching those documentaries I can see how people would think otherwise.

Nah not really gross at all, it’s understandable why victims of sex crimes would support such a character.  SVU is actually really popular with women because it gives them a fantasy in which cops actually take sex crimes seriously instead of ignoring them for years.
