That was the goal, but I think you underestimate the number of people who don’t modify their cars and will look just at published magazine numbers and say it’s bad.

That’s because the 2008 WRX was a bloated, boring, hunk of junk. It got a big weight penalty (a few hundred pounds) and lost *any* form of interesting styling. People complained about everything about that model

I think that’s a bit of an apples to oranges comparison because the weight there is sooooo much less.

I’m not convinced the people complaining about the car *only* having 200 hp have the right idea and are just arm chair number warriors.* The Miata “only” has 181 HP and you don’t see people complaining about that. The old WRX’s “only” had 227 and no one complained about that. Hell, the old base Impreza had 173 and it’s…

I wonder if this has some cross section where certain voters are very policy concerned (health care, climate change, reform...etc), but might not necessarily go out and research what someone’s policies actually are and want to be told directly what they are?

My mom pulled the “mail-in ballots and absentee ballots are totally different” line on me and I looked into it and there is an *extremely* subtle difference between the two: one gets sent out to everyone whose registered and the other only gets sent out on request. Beyond that they are the same.
