I’m still waiting for apple to answer why the rear camera on my phone suddenly stopped working once upgrading to IOS 8. The newest update didn’t do shit either.

No, see, when it happens to a Windows PC it’s proof that Windows is shit.

Get a Windows Phone....

Pretty much any iPhone issue I’ve ever had, when I’ve looked for support suggestions, the answer from Apple has always been: “Oh, hi. You know what you should do? You should reinstall the OS on your phone from iTunes. And don’t reload from a backup. There could be something wrong there.”

Not just the iPhone, the MBP Retina has been doing that a lot more lately.

My Androids rarely ever crashed (LG Optimus One, Samsung Nexus S, LG Nexus 4); the Nexus 4 crashed occasionally but about the same rate that my iPhone randomly crashes. I don’t think its normal behaviour at all, though.

Weird, my HTC One isn’t doing this.

Yeah... no. It’s not something that is common to smartphones in general, and if it is common to the smartphones you’re using, there’s something wrong. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had phones that randomly restarted, but it was never “often” as you’ve described. If I had a phone that rebooted on the order of once per day,

I’ve owned plenty of Android phones. I’ve never had this problem unless I was loading a custom rom or something. My last 2 phones (OnePlus One and GS6) I have kept stock and had no random reboots.

Yep, happens with my iphone 6+. So frustrating, especially in the middle of a phone call.

Kernel panics (or whatever the proper term here is) are pretty common on iOS. Safari was a huge source of them for a while there on the original iPad Air - it constantly threw me to the white apple of death (which I am now dubbing a WAOD). Happens on my Air 2 occasionally, as well, and I think the frequency of said

You’re so cool for putting down a mobile phone operating system. :-) You must be INCREDIBLE at parties!

How is iOS far behind Android? What in this post makes you say that?

What the hell are you talking about?

No, iOS will never be buggy, glitchy, unable to be put on the latest phone models and a hackers central. So, no.

This is the minutia you want to nitpick? Really? You should go back a couple years and make the same comment on the Note 3 and Note 4 posts, as well. The camera on the Note line has been sticking out since the Note 3 arrived in September of 2013, so it’s not like this is a surprise. Or even new.

I’m just gonna say I came to see the replies to your comment, and wish I could have said “don’t say I didn’t warn you!”

Nice back peddling.

I bet you comment on Android articles mentioning how shitty iOS is too.

You mean they’ll become a complicated malware infested mess?
