As a Tesla owner - the biggest thing that would be keeping me from getting a non-Tesla is the fast charging network.

Infiniti should maybe take a leaf out of Hyundai and Kia’s playbook. That’s because the two carmakers have been sweeping up since launching their newest EVs here in the U.S.

His point is about security. if all you can have is a debit card because of financial difficulties that should make a person even more careful on where to use it, because a fraud on a debit card will hurt even more than a fraud on a credit card.
So use an ATM on a place you trust to withdraw the money and pay

Do not use a debit card at a gas pump - hell, unless you’re taking cash out at ATMs don’t bother with a debit card at all.

2nd: Recently, Manchin has called the EV tax credit “ludicrous” and that he’d much rather coal powered vehicles be subsidized instead.

It was funny, the first person who showed me the clip is a cyclists and he said “He was probably using pedal clips” (or whatever those things are which connect the shoe to the bike). Apparently they are great for when riding not so much when you want to get off.

Dammit, your supposed to be mad; common sense with statistics will get you greyed around here. Take that shit to Consumer Reports.

There are between 10,000 and 12,000 car crashes in Portland Oregon every year. If there were only 392 car crashes in the last 10 months across the entire USA where a car was using level 2 driver assistance with the last 30 seconds, that sounds like a very safe system. As you note, these numbers mean nothing unless we

Gtfoh with this bullshit. You know damn well that this story (assuming it’s true) isn’t simply about someone “changing their mind about something.” You also know damn well that if Boebert simply had a “personal opinion” about abortion, there wouldn’t be a problem. Guess what, everyone has a personal opinion about

Sometimes it’s good to be an Old.

This totally ignores the value of your time and wear and tear on a vehicle.

Police demand to be able to kill more people.

The original livery is iconic and should not be messed with.

Not an error, the AI investigated the destination and came to the conclusion, that it is better to end up in Canada.

First gear. This sounds about right in my experience. My wife and I drove Chevy Bolts from 2017-2021. Most of our charging was done with level 2 chargers at home, but on the occasion that we would go on a road trip, we would almost invariably run into bad chargers. Payment issues, broken chargers, etc. Did not matter

Oh come now. This question has only one answer if nothing else because of the charging network, EV range, and of course the OG for driver features.

I just looked at the location of the crash. Perhaps the Pony.ai car was distracted or sabotaged by the Tesla factory on the other side of the highway?

Dude i live no where near a major city. The closest “city” is hartford, and theres chargers all over the damn place. Nearly every costco, shopping mall strip, all that crap has them

This is a good point. We drive an i3 and live in Georgia, where most people would assume there are very few fast chargers. But, in reality, we can drive to any corner of the state — even the North Georgia mountains and MTG’s congressional district — hike or sightsee, and then find a fast charger that will get us home

The problem with that study you cited was it surveyed people who bought from 2012 - 2018 which is eons ago. Model 3 wasn’t even released till 2018. So it’s basically surveying Leaf, Volt and Model S buyers and before there were really any 150+ CCS fast chargers or Tesla v3 250 kw superchargers.
