I don’t suppose you’ll bother to explain who you think I am and why.

Weird you should say context is everything since to me it seems like you’re ignoring the context, which is that he was doing an impression of one guy instead of stereotyping an entire race. Despite the name, I think the makeup aspect of blackface is a lot less important than the stereotype aspect.

Fallon wasn’t using racial stereotypes; he was doing an impression of one guy who just happens to be black.

Yeah, I don’t think any Honda was available with a V8 lol

Why are you trolling the under-30s to search for a V8 rwd Acura s-class?

I saw that and was like wow Jalopnik....

The acura legend was always a FWD V6 car? Did you mix it up with the LS400?

Thank you. I couldn’t remember a V-8 ever offered in an Acura.

sadly, Jalopnik is sinking...

Can someone please show me a pic of a RWD, V-8 powered Acura Legend or RL? By my reckoning, there has never been such an animal. All Legends and RL’s have been FWD and V-6 powered. The 2nd gen Legend looked RWD and had a longitudinal V-6, but no V-8.

a RWD V8 Acura sedan you say? Sign me up!

Ehhhh, I don’t think this is true for anyone other than people who live in very dense urban centers. I live in a 1M-sized city, a “medium city” by today’s standards, and at one point I did crunch the numbers on using services rather than buying a car. I concluded I’d spend approximately 30x the cost of a car payment

Where do you live?

Depending on your location and use. I think two 30 mile+ commutes to work and my regular shopping via ridesharing-du-jour will be much more than a car payment.

Yep. Made that mistake on an 05 sedan version of this car a couple of years ago., because I didn’t know any better. Luckily, we managed to sell it again to another clueless rube before the fuel pump became an issue, but I still had to do all the “normal” E46 “maintenance” items: water pump, coolant expansion tank, oil

E46 owner here. This one has the SULEV motor, which gets a huge NO from me.

He set the temperature to 83 degrees because he’s afraid of the car overheating.  Car has cooling issues.  Calling it now.

Thanks, Dad.
