Damn, never seen a Leto fanboy in the wild. Godspeed to you, good sir.
I like the way the Flex looks...
Opinions are like buttholes, and yours stinks.
I considered a Flex when I looking to replace my SUV, nearly bought it but another deal floated into view.
Had a sister in the market for a three row vehicle. I showed her this and she said it was “too boxy”. Then she bought a suburban.
I went car shopping with a friend, and the Flex was the vehicle I recommended. It ticked all the boxes, and had a dash of cool to go along with it. He choose the big Buick SUV instead. I sometimes think people shouldn’t be allowed to make their own car buying decisions.
Ford Flex could have used a nice sales bump. Severely underappreciated vehicle.
Sure it costs more, but it’s a better vehicle in every way
The Tesla fan has logged on.
Electric Boxster would 1000% be better than the Tesla Roadster
Electric Mazda 3 would 1000% be better than the Tesla Model 3
Electric Accord would 1000% be better than the Tesla Model S
I *might* concede the Transit.
How does one not know whether he leased or purchased a $37,000 vehicle?
Wait, are you saying friend leased a car and walked out thinking he had bought it? Or did he just forget which it was?
Your problem is that you’re assuming that F1 development will stand still. You’re also forgetting F1 already features hybrid engines with turbos, so who is to say how that hybrid technology will be utilized. It’s entirely plausible the electric motors will assist in acceleration in some form and have 0-60 splits as…
But it won’t be faster. It’ll have a faster 0-60 time, sure, but why does that matter? That’s just one random cherry picked metric.
Well unless that minivan is going around the F1 layout of Spa in about 1:50 it really doesn’t matter if it can beat an F1 car in 0-60 acceleration. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if there are several different racing series cars that can make that claim that still aren’t within a dream of lapping Spa that quickly
Longevity is also a performance metric, and 40-ton semis can drive far longer than any F1 car, therefore F1 is no longer the pinnacle of motorsports.
F1 cars 0-60 are between 2 - 2.7 secs. Heck that’s even slower than rally cars which can go under 2sec, but I can hardly expect a rally car to keep up on an F1 track. EVs can definitely better utilize their power but for how long?...Also I think companies have been lazy with ICE. From Mazdas very efficient skyactive…
Okay...a Base Camry can outperform a 70's Ferrari and yet the Ferrari is viscerally and emotionally better in every way despite it trying to kill you. I don’t hate electric cars at all, but after seeing and more importantly hearing Ford vs Ferrari, ICE racing shouldn’t be going away anytime soon.
