NOOOOOOOOOooooooooo!!!

I live alone and could not tell you the last time I ate at my dinning room table alone. Couch or outside at the patio table when it’s just me. Weather permitting, and I have a high tolerance on both ends, it’s on the patio when with others.

My first car was supposed to be a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix.  It was 10 years old, but spotless.  I was looking so forward to it being my car. My Dad blew the engine in it before I got my learners. Sad face.

I learned to drive in the tail end of the era. My parents had a 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 sedan, and a 1984 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency Broughm (sp?) sedan. Olds started making the jump to the “Euro - Style” in 1987 on the sedans (Dad had an ‘87 Ninety-Eight next), and 1988 with the Cutlass. Except for the 1988

Have done about the same with my 2010 Fit. “I’m not paying you that much to change a filter...” then I forget. Mine had leaves as well. Fortunately not a smoker.

There is a Tecate brewery in Tecate, Baja California, MX. Thought about stopping when I was passing through coming back from Ensenada last year. But it was too early, and my next destination was the other extreme in beer quality, Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA. Which was awesome. Tecate Light has blown up from what

So who “won”?

I call it one of the worst movies ever made. Not just racing movies. Just worst movie made.

Talladega Nights is a blast. Probably the cheesiest of them.

Driven made Days of Thunder look like a documentary. Richard Petty said they only thing they got right in Days of Thunder was putting numbers on the cars.

Hadn’t thought much about it, but yeah, their “pebble” ice is unique.

Simpler times.

Potato chips are the worst to try and quit at all, or even stop eating once the bag is open. Jalepeño flavored kettle cooked chips may be the death of me.

I love Payday bars. Actually seek them out. I definitely remember the chocolate covered one, but I thought it was a lot longer ago. Maybe there was another further back. I don’t recall the “Avalanche” part.

Growing up I was a fan of Twinkies, loved ‘em. And they were Grandpa’s favorite, even better when I was with him. A couple decades past since my last one as a kid.

I have a 2010 Fit Sport, just crossed 100k miles. I absolutely adore this car. It still drives like new. With the lay flat rear seats, full height lift gate, and some tie downs, can get a lot of gear in it, “It fits in the FIT”. A lot more headroom than you’d expect.

I have probably hauled more stuff, and had more dirt under the wheels of my Honda Fit than a very large portion of truck owners. Also gave my Dad a jump once, and as you may have guessed, he has a truck.

Thank you for saying it yourself.

Grew up in suburban Chicago. So miss the one every corner independent Italian beef and gyro joints. I’ve been in Phoenix for almost 25 years. Several good pizza choices, but a good Italian beef is more challenging. Portillo’s has opened a few locations in town in the last few years. Nino’s, a central Illinois staple

I’m from souther-west suburbs, grew up in Country Club Hills, 175th and Pulaski. I don’t recall EVER having deep dish as a kid at home. We got thin crust, square cut as described above. To me, THAT is Chicago pizza. I don’t think I had stuffed until in High School and could drive. Went to the Homewood Giordano’s once
