Came here for snarky review poking fun at a ridiculous truck, received an Applesoft Basic reference and I’m going to now exit my office and go home. It’s 7:41am PDT and my day has been completed.

But then you’d have a VW, and sorry about that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I would definitely buy the hatchback S variant of this vehicle, which I cannot have, because I live in the USA where we can’t have the really good things. However, let me nit pick something:
My 1996 K1500 4WD. It had comfy cloth bucket seats, lots of squeaky plastic bits, awful panel gaps, and it trucked. It did what it was supposed to do, it did the trucking. No pretending, no posturing, just truck. Man I dumped so much money into this thing when I was younger and had way more inclination to spend spare…
It’s .... so.... beautiful. No really, this is amazing. All of the stars.
When that piece of sh*t lands, all the airbags will blow, it’ll fold at the bed, and the alarm will be sounding. We’ve all seen the video... #DoYouEvenTruckBro
Well, Vanagons are played-out, boring, and ridiculously expensive. This is different which makes it cool, until we start seeing them every day I suppose. I see a 4WD Delica at least twice a week on my way to work in Lake Oswego, Who knew a RHD #VanLifer would live/work there?
Having just been to Venice last summer I can attest that they’re an absolute scourge and Venice should return to banning them from docking. It’s a relatively recent change to allow them directly into Venice in the first place and nothing good comes of their arrival. 8:30am and you can peacefully walk about the square,…
Funny thing is, you’re wrong. I have a 2014 GLK 250 BlueTEC and I pretty much never think, “Man, these 370 lb/ft just aren’t enough.” The diesel is very spry, and it’s absolutely bitchin’ for towing. It’s not slow, it’s just not.
I bought a 1995 Plymouth Neon Highline brand new, in this exact color. Mine had the roof rack *AND* the surfboard spoiler. I have incredibly fond memories of this car being fun to drive, handling far better than a $14,000 car has any right to, and being comfortable. Mine had A/C, power locks, but manual windows. As a…
Fact. I have a Dolomite Brown Metallic GLK 250, with brown leather interior, and brown wood accents. I have black floor mats however, because contrast. :)
Thus my “oh....” ;)
Came here to revise my comment. Been driving a loaner car with a dual-clutch and I’m not convinced I like it. When spirited driving, it’s pretty cool really. For normal traffic DD ... it’s ehhhhh weird.
The man has a point....
Oh this is definitely a bad idea, but they *are* very cute. What to do... what to do..... *don’t but a VAG product*
Is that the AWD, manual version? Oh.....
I had a 2013 Outback with the FB25 and the CVT with 6 “notches”. It was impossible to drive in a spirited manner and the drivetrain sobbed whenever I pulled my two dirt bikes.
Let’s play a comparison game, shall we?
Short answer: Not with a rubber-band pretending to be a transmission.
Careful... my 2013 Outback was very heavily FWD-biased. It was 90/10 unless it detected wheel spin, and then the intrusion of the system was very obvious.
