As someone from a family with 3 generations of auto workers including union workers and management (I run a small tech company so I’m not one of them), my personal opinion is that the UAW is more interested in protecting bad employees and enriching themselves than actually protecting wages and benefits for the average

This thing makes the Aztek look like a beauty queen. Wow.

Thank you. I’m the kind of person who endlessly researches a new multi-player game before starting, because I don’t want to cause any problems for teammates when I first start. I do the same thing before meeting a potential client as well, so I was curious what the expectations were in a situation like this as well as

I was just curious about the situation. There are a lot of reasons I ask, such as seeing videos of people on the track who clearly shouldn’t be there without some instruction, and being curious how actual instructors view their students. Most of that was answered by WRXforScience.

That thing is awesome!

I’d love to see some. Maybe they just haven’t made it to where I am yet. Do they have a good off-road aftermarket part selection for them?

Did you ever worry about looking like a “noob” with the instructor, or do they do a good job of alleviating the fear of making mistakes?

You’re only ever going to see the Wrangler doing any off-roading. I have yet to see anyone in a G-Class so much as traversing a dirty puddle. That’s just my personal experience, but I don’t see much overlap in the Venn diagram with people who buy a Mercedes G-Class or Lexus RX equivalent, and people who like to wander

I love that sound as well. I was just using a V8 as an example as my last car was an RC-F. I’m driving a CLA45 AMG now with a 2.0 4, but it has a hilariously loud exhaust. That’s what I think I would really miss even if I could hit 60 in 2 seconds and run a small country with the technology.

I really want to love this car and be excited about it. It’s got awesome performance and technology, and I run a tech company so I love gadgets. My problem is the lack of sound. I love the sound of a V8 revving or the cracks and pops from the exhaust. Is that rational? I don’t know. I think I would miss it a lot, and

That’s cheaper than operating most used Land Rovers or Jaguars.

Look. It’s not like they have video of a naked man dragging a half naked woman into his hotel room after she escaped twice yelling for help. Maybe if they had something like this he would have been convicted.

This will come in handy when China decides to just build a series of islands straight to Taiwan. Who needs a navy when you can just connect your islands with bridges and drive there instead.

How have I never heard this before? That is a glorious sound, that I could listen to all day (before going deaf). I’m really going to miss things like this when the electric cars are the only vehicles on the road.

Which of those incentives are available for leasing, and is there any easy way to tell other than having to call or email the (terrible) dealership?

I drove an RC-F in Indianapolis winters with just some snow tires. I didn’t really have any issues with the traction even with the V8 and RWD but, as you mentioned, ground clearance was the limiting factor.

Isn’t that why they made the V8 models in AWD only the last couple of years or so? I thought I had read that people just couldn’t keep those things straight with RWD only.

Good to see China has graduated from stealing intellectual property to stealing physical property.

They play a prominent role in Red Storm Rising as well. It’s my favorite Tom Clancy novel.
