what bothers me is that as women we shouldn't like the "women and children first" mantra. yes for pregnancy and children as that's more of a mobility issue. beyond that, aren't we affirming the "weaker sex" myth when claiming men for protecting their womenfolk? how about praising men and women for protecting each
