Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Yeah, but actually likable.

For a tangentially related sports angle, here’s Mark Cuban working at a Dairy Queen in 2002.

The Detroit Lions are sore losers even in articles where they aren’t the topic. Now that’s on-point marketing for you.  You can’t buy bad publicity like that; you have to charge for it.

This is an incedibly bad take on your part. Its like saying “dont blame hitler for killing 6 million jews, because you have no idea if someone else may have come along and killed 10 million jews.”

Luck’s choice didn’t happen in a vacuum.  How the Colts handled/mishandled his injuries are relevant to his health and this choice.

Andrew Luck’s retirement will only increase the primal urgency of Football Men to find True Football Believers to play football, so that they don’t ever question their faith in it.

Dearest Mother,

6 seasons before I realized I didn’t like it, but then I kept going for 2 more in the hope that it would become an acquired taste.

So batters can see the ball being released better.

If it

there is a person behind all the memes, a man beyond the punchline, a proud and once-successful coach behind the laughingstock.

Can we please stop the trope of ‘I’ve never seen this thing but I’m going to write about it”  Ignorance is not instructive or charming.  Informed opinions are.

I loved this and now I’m super excited to see how this season goes. Hilarious first episode that set up everything well. And the cast is fantastic. My favorite sequence was when Judy’s husband said how regressive the Gemstone family was in how it keeps women off to the side in their place and then Jesse’s wife starts

He’s great and he's perfect.
