One thing to consider — I’ve heard that at the end of the ten years, when the loans are forgiven, it looks like income received on your taxes and could lead to a higher-than-normal hit when it comes time to file in the spring. On the plus side, if you know that it’s coming you can put something aside ahead of time and

I’ve been thinking about this for a good hour or two and the only things I can think of are really niche: civil war related things, or diamond mines. And for the civil war there’s plenty of other states that have more history along with other things to do.

My goal in life is to figure out the ratio of honey to cinnamon to butter, so I can eat that all day everyday and die happy. Soon, but happy.

I’ve been regretting the fact that I messed up romancinng Kaidan in 1 and only getting to him in 3, but I never knew that was how he handled things had you managed to romance him in both games. Wow. That would have infuriated me beyond all belief. I’m suddenly really glad I biffed that and ended up with Liara in 1...

I wanted so badly to romance Garrus in ME2 but he was always fucking calibrating things and I got in a snit and went with Jacob instead. So much regret. Especially since my efforts to romance Kaidan in the first game didn’t work out and I ended up with Liara (admittedly an excellent second option) instead. Next

We had something similar happen where I am in backwoods Arkansas. There’s literally a street called “It’ll Do Road” just to get it named. But hey, it’s memorable and tells people (911) where you are.

I read the title correctly the first time, and then managed to misread it every subsequent time as “Why you should crap yourself for fun.” I started to really question Lifehacker for a minute there, but nope, just my apparently horrifying brain. I do agree with the intended idea though. It’s fun!

Oh lord help me, ETA:

The Escape From New York/LA movies, the first three Tremors movies, Airheads, Encino Man, Bio Dome, all three Mummy movies with Brendan Fraser, Ace Ventura (both films), Big Trouble in Little China, and lord I know I’m forgetting a bunch in my rush to champion awful/entertaining movies... If it was made in 90s/early

This is one of the first times I’ve really been hit by the Uncanny Valley effect and it’s *awful*.

McCree looked like he was having a ridiculous amount of fun, I love it. All of these are so great and playful!

I *finally* upgraded myself from an older laptop that could barely chug through 5 year old games on lowest settings to a desktop that I built myself. I ended up landing on DA:I for a second playthrough, with DLC I hadn’t played before (I’d done Trespasser but hadn’t tried Jaws or Descent). The game looked nice before,

The most frustrating part is that some people insist it’s necessary, or the gay/bi/ace/etc person isn’t really what they believe themselves to be. How could they know after all, without that experience? They’re just lying to themselves, or faking. It’s ridiculous and wrapped up in a lot of the stigma involved in

I really need to just suck it up and go somewhere to speak with associates about a good color/shade for my skin. I’ve never been able to find one on my own, it’s always completely off. My face has a lot of red, my neck is extremely pale, and my arms are an inbetween shade that doesn’t really match up with either for

This is undeniably interesting and needed to be documented, but is anyone else wondering about the baby during all this? Did he take it with him on this journey or wake up the wife to let her handle it while he took the pictures?

They’ve had one on the Giant Microbes site for a few years now. I got one about three or four years ago and he sits on top of my monitor. Similar size, but the nose is less accurate and he is blue.

I don’t have a TV, nor do I feel the need to get one. All of my Netflix happens on my laptop and it works well for me. Different strokes.

I live in a relatively small town (4-5k people); last presidential election, my parents didn’t vote until they got home after work and were still in line, waiting, at 11:30pm that night. There were only 3 or 4 working voting machines and they’d run out of paper ballots by mid-morning. It was a hot, hot mess. I voted

I’ve been combing through the comments purely to find a mention of Death Bed. It’s so bizarre.

Maybe seeing an article like this would help? Show him the repercussions in a real-life situation, similar to his own, and how poorly it goes for the partner?
