I’m not an Assad apologist. I condemn, in any form, U.S military intervention in the middle east. I opposed the Iraq war, I opposed Libya, and now I oppose this.

I’m having a terrific laugh over how the Alt-Right has turned on Trump but I’m deeply disturbed at how so many on the left and in the center view this Syria Strike as one of the better things Trump has done. The fact that the focus of so many progressive outlets has been to point out Trump’s hypocrisy on Syria

I have no idea what that says.

What’s scary is that those nutjobs on the Alt-Right look like geniuses next to the moderates and liberals who think this strike is anything short of a disaster.

Fuck you and your strawmen. I opposed Assad and Russia the past six years and I still do. That has nothing to do with opposing what Trump has done.

I criticize it as I would criticize Obama or Hillary for it. I don’t believe in using military force to ‘send a message.’

No, no, it motherfucking is NOT ‘absolutely necessary’ to declare war (without congressional approval) against a government aligned with Russia.

‘Break a leg’ and ‘merde’ are both used equally in all manner of performing arts; the latter shows up more often in dance because dance is a francophonically codified art form.

Boyega would have gotten that if he were American - he had zero name recognition at the time and even mega-budget films like Star Wars will have a steep dropoff in pay for unknown actors (regardless of how big the role is). Oscar Isaac wasn’t a superstar but he had been in some very big films, so it’s unsurprising

Spicer will wake up in the middle of the night with a Tavor in his face.

aaaaaand now you’re the victim (but not before deleting my reply - how convenient).

I’m quoting the OP you fucking moron -these aren’t imaginary insults. Go over to breitbart if you want to whine about your damn white fragility.

This isn’t about ‘the culture’ and ‘beefs.’ This is about white women calling black women ‘dangerous’ and ‘threatening’ and ‘abusive’ because of a damn diss record. White feminism at its finest.

You have chosen literally the dumbest hill to die on.

I nearly had a stroke reading the OP comment on the train this morning.

I did a little research on ‘Jonathan Hay’ and uncovered the following:

It’s not about ‘helping her up the stairs;’ it’s about acting like a goddamn respectable HUMAN and waiting for your WIFE to finish exiting the car before you start walking up the stairs.

Simple reason. They don’t sing as well as they used to, because they don’t have to sing as well as they used to. In Aretha’s day, audio production was hugely limited. There was no autotune and it was unheard of to lipsync in a live performance. So being a professional singer meant having at least a semblance of good

I’m still bummed about how much of the sitcom is so different from Eddie’s real life. I get that it’s a family show (and Eddie did initially say that he wanted the show to be for everyone, not for the people who watch The Wire) but his parents in real life are 1000x more interesting and complex, and in a different

Nah I didn’t know Rashida’s name when I saw ‘I Love You Man’ and the whole time I was pretty sure she was Mediterranean or something (plus, her parents in that movie were white).
