She beat luke skywalker, legendary jedi master, in a fight 2-3 days after beating his greatest student in a fight with no input from him beyond tickling her hand with a leaf.

its not that she uses the Force, its that the first time we see her using the Force she is doing some crazy unprecedented, mary poppins looking thing...

Oh and also they killed all the memorable characters we liked in favor of a flavorless burger king kids club of shit.

Really would have been nice to get some of this story line in the movie, or hell, the movie before. As of now what we have is one all-powerful character who’s motivations are clearly “Im confused and dont know what to do” but is boringly competent so much so that she has no meaningful antagonist to threaten her

You should put at the top of the article “STILL NO EXPLANATION FOR HOLDO’S HORRIBLE LEADERSHIP OR WHY SHIPS HAVEN’T BEEN LIGHTSPEED RAMMING EACH OTHER FOR YEARS.”

Having finally seen The Last Jedi, I have to say it was brilliant. I was firmly on the anti-Johnson bandwagon, but I was wrong. It wasn’t a perfect movie, but it wasn’t remotely as bad as some people have made it out to be. And I think it sets up some fascinating possibilities for Episode IX.

Why do energy beams lose energy after a few thousand feet...in space?
Why do X-Wings make banked turns?
Why do the bomber ships all look just like WW2 bombers and, when shot, fall listlessly “down” even though there isn’t really a down in space?
Why when bombs were released did they “fall down?”
Why were the bomber ships.

I think it’s kind of despicable that this site continues to flog the divide of audiences for this movie like this. It’s a near multiple daily set of posts designed and written to foster the arguements.

Wow this website loves to defend this movie

The fact that The Force Awakens seemed to suggest her parents would be someone important and was then teased multiple times in The Last Jedi before the reveal of “Ah fuck it, she’s a nobody” was piss poor misdirection and a missed opportunity to create a memorable moment in cinema history. Instead Johnson’s daring

“Johnson was daring enough” — Really?

I feel that Rian Johnson threw a lot of things from The Force Awakens over his shoulder and into the sea. Snoke’s backstory and any possible future, Rey’s parents, the loyalty of Star Wars fans.

I had to scroll down waaaay farther than I was expecting to see this (which was my thought, too).

Chris Pratt is getting an “AND”? Huh.

Pip the Troll, obviously!

Sorry, but... ...WHY...?

No it really doesnt.

Does the Blu-Ray help us understand WHY they chose to make the movie so bad? I thought that was a bold artistic decision.

It was clear The Last Jedi was going to be special mere minutes into the movie

Introducing a character no one remembers only to kill and connect them to another character that no one liked...well done Rian. Rose and Finn were the worst parts of TLJ
