No matter how spectacular any of us are in our jobs, there's not one of us, including Megyn Kelly, spectacular enough to be worth 69 million dollars in salary.

Obviously I don’t think she should get a penny because I don’t think she should have been hired, in the first place. But it was inevitable she’d get the full amount.

I was bored and watched Parade’s End (which only led me to be more bored, but it was find background noise for cooking) and he’s has this awful Matthew Crawley blonde hair. Which is fine on pale blue eyed Dan Stevens, but no good, very bad on Cat Alien. He needs a dark contrast.

Hard to say. The Lake Canisius area (if that’s where the family actually lives) is pretty wealthy, but I’d always had the impression they were pretty liberal too.

YUP. They think all of this is going to break her- it will only increase her resolve, and that of her followers.

I can’t understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I’m frightened of the old ones.

I have been mistaken for a janitor and a transient trying to gain access to the building by people with very little in the way of any kind of meaningful authority. It brings me petty joy every time they see me with someone from admin and then try to greet me the next time we interact. I just pretend they’re invisible…

She’s the future. And every time they look at her, deep down they know that she had to be smarter, better and work harder than them to get there. And she did it. 

These people are all terrified of her, of what she represents.

I am a female lawyer in my early 30s and I regularly get mistaken for an assistant or paralegal. It adds extra difficulty to my job since I need to establish credibility before I can even engage with clients.
