In my opinion you don’t need to see the 1st one. You may not be quite as emotionally invested in one or two late-game twists in the plot, but the core of the story and the stakes for the main characters are completely stand-alone.

Without spoiling anything, I feel like it’s more like 2049 just approaches those themes from a different vector, and scoops a few different conversations out of those waters as it sails past. The characters in 2049 have a very, very different vantage point than anyone in the original Blade Runner did, despite the fact…
This is sounding more and more like everything I want from an Arronofsky film.
People log a lot of hours into Destiny because they can, but you don’t have to. For a long time I would just play solo for an hour before bed here and there and it was more than enough time to feel like I had accomplished something. It’s nothing like an MMO in terms of the time investment required, unless you’re doing…
What’s the secret to getting paid for positive coverage? I’ve been doing it for free this whole time and I feel like I’m just throwing away cash every time I publicly state that I like something.
Hunter here. I can confirm that Warlocks definitely have the most awesome book clubs with all the fiber cookies you can eat.
For me as a kid the threats and frightening things in the world of NIMH were completely rational things to be afraid of. There were no monsters or bogeymen hiding in the dark. A mouse whose home could be destroyed by a tractor, a conspiring beurocrat vying for power, a severe illness, etc... the world of NIMH made…
The beautiful thing about the 1st amendment is that it gives every American the right to personally tell nazis to shut up and go home.
All this hysteria over a line of text that no one has bothered to figure out yet... But hey we’ve got Total Biscuit’s take on it!
If you learn on a slate it becomes intuitive pretty quickly. It’s harder to go from a screen back to a slate. I haven’t tried this model in particular but my experience with Wacom is that they’re really good, they have a ton of extra features, and I don’t use *any* of them on a day-to-day basis, as I’ve already…

I found the violence in Cars 2 incredibly upsetting. Cute happy little cars get shot to pieces, tortured, dismantled, and exploded throughout. When it was over I felt deeply disturbed. Granted, Incredibles had a body count as well, but at least with the spy/superhero genre that was to be expected. I thought this was…
It’s a playable build of a game that is in the beta phase, so yeah it’s A beta, it’s not THE beta because THE beta isn’t a thing. There are many beta builds before a game finally goes gold and these public tests can be counted among them.
Six players really allowed a lot of carrying, I felt. Fewer players means eceryone’s contribution counts for something. But also stripping it down to four makes everything on the map a lot more deliberate and easier to figure out. For example if I see three guys defending B then I know that at least one of the two…
The destiny subreddit seems to fluctuate violently between a calm/welcoming and pure unfiltered keyboard-smashing hate rage at a moment’s notice.
It’s more like Diablo than WoW. With Destiny you will reach the max-level/“end game” in the time it would take to finish a Call of Duty campaign and then the game and all the activities are open for you to set your own goals and decide what you want to do to “progress”. It’s not like an MMO where you grind and grind…
The leveling and story really IS the game and the story is one of the better Final Fantasy stories, so it’s kind of paying to skip what you paid for in my opinion. Seems more for people who want to quickly level alt characters. If you’re new to the game, just play through and enjoy it.
If you were going to play exclusively on PS4 you might want to hook up a USB keyboard for text chat, but aside from performance it is the exact same game, and they share the same servers so it’s not even like you’ll have bigger populations on one platform versus the other.
It works really well with controller, actually. It has a hotkey system that’s really intuitive so you can access all your skills and commands on the fly without getting confused, and you can bind pretty much any conceivable game function on there, from emotes to loadouts to menus for easy access. I play on the PC but…
