We’re not getting the true weirdness of the Inhumans. Accept it now.

On the flip (fantasia) side, if some people stole my Cantaloop I’d shoot one of them, too.
I think you hurt Sue’s feelings ;)
Well that does beat what I thought was going to be the best D&D story I heard this week.
I agree with you on that 100% The cybermen always flit a bit bewtween over the top robot toys and genuinely creepy. I think a bit like the Borg you need to keep that little bit of human up front and visble just to remind you of the body horror.
Very much so, like Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster (Superman creators), and Jerry Iger and Will Eisner (ran a comics production house that gave us Sheena Queen of the Jungle and had among its members Jack Kirby, Bob Powell and Klaus Nordling). Eisner would later give us The Spirit and classic American graphic novels.
I always thought the stills looked ridiculous, but when you pair it with the voice and the movement its actually kind of effective.
That’s what I thought too. The conveniently labeled “batteries” container in the back of an pickup, hatch down, facing the woods just after Rick says they needed to find more batteries. That required more suspension of disbelief than the deer.
Thank you. I Think the Telos vs Mondas is a subtle thing missed by a lot of folks. I thought its been pretty much non-petes since after Doomsday.
That is... pretty plausible. Sigh.
ABOUT
I love that movie.
You’ve never seen A Boy and His Dog? It’s a post-apocalyptic movie from the mid-70s, based on a Harlan Ellison story, about a 17-year-old who has a telepathic bond with his dog, Blood. It’s the movie The Road Warrior lifted its look from. It’s great.
And the best:
No Jason Robards in A Boy and His Dog?
He actually said he was a PhD, not an MD, but Negan probably doesn’t know the difference.
No, he said he had just received his doctorate. He didn’t say he was an MD.
Among the multiple PhDs (who really gets like 3 related ones?) and other credentials he listed none of them were medicine related.
You’re purposely avoiding the best character on the show.
While I am not quite that far, I agree that he is enjoyable and that most folks are being overly critical of his character. Not sure if you read the comics but I feel like he is just as chatty and over-the-top as in the book and everyone loves him there. I’m on board.
