Seriously, I’ve long believed that “Resisting arrest” shouldn’t even be a thing unless there were a shitload of other charges, already. Under no circumstances should anyone be able to be charged with resisting arrest and NOTHING else. 

Even if you put aside that these were CHILDREN, the police had no reason to shoot at all. The children were running away from them (so no threat), and all they’d observed was a possible traffic violation. There’s nothing to indicate the car’s occupants had done anything life threatening to anyone.

Those cops must have been so afraid of the thought those Black kids might get away alive before they could murder them in self defense.
