Unbearable Pain

Leaving flooring it or doing burnouts for videos is quickly becoming the most douchey way to leave C&C. And people eat it up as evidenced by whoever is clapping. “Fuck yea I’m seeing a wreck!”. Really? I’m tired of seeing some of my favorite cars ruined by owners that obviously cant handle them. I’m to the point where

Steel columns meant to come down clearly in place.

uh isn’t context important? he cheated on a video game. nobody was actually physically hurt. now you’re asking us to draw some kind of moral equivalency between a child not playing by the rules and a corporation that generates millions in profit and has infinitely easier access to legal resources suing said child?

The mom’s the only one in the right here.

The kid’s a punk asshole who may or may not be profiting off cheating if the folks claiming he’s one of the people who made the cheating tools... but he’s definitely a cheater, so hey, there’s that.

Epic Games is a fucking massive corporation trying to save face for how easy

Except in this case, the minor is being sued in a state where suing a minor IS NOT legal, nor is it legal for them to distribute his name or other personal information in the course of pursuing said lawsuit.

a. It’s a game at the end of the day.. not that serious.

It’s on the company for not verifying legal age, not on the parents for kid lying about it. Like how the kid or parents aren’t at fault if a kid gets served alcohol at a bar, the bar is the one at fault.

Since he’s not the legal age because he lied, all that means is now it’s all on the mother.

lol looks like they crossed the wrong mom.

A couple of things make it not totally stupid. Small size and low weight for its power, as you mentioned. That’s actually kind of a big deal for a hybrid. Also, many of the issues inherent in rotaries are reduced when you only need them to spin at a fixed rpm while attached to a generator.

My guess is it’ll be small and simple enough to be viewed as a disposable/replaceable part. When the seals wear out just get a new one, sort of like brake pads. I agree its a little puzzling but rotaries can be tiny and are pretty simple once you work out the engineering part.

My thoughts exactly. Plus all the other issues that wouldnt make it a good generator, flooding, oil consumption, fuel (in)efficiency.

...what? They’re using a low torque, high emission engine as a generator? Mazda, what the fuck

There is no bigger pain in the ass to travel with than somebody who wants to flaunt their wealth in front of poor people.

There are plenty of places in the world where a 5 series would stick out like a sore thumb.

Travel to Mexico? No thank you very much. My employer doesn’t pay me enough to go there.

“He had zero explanation. I mean, the ocean is on one side, there are railings on both sides. There’s no mistaking you are on the boardwalk,” said the chief.

Former car salescritter here, eventually became an F&I guy, sales manager, and GSM. What follows should be considered well-informed opinion...

I worked for a CJDR dealer for about a year as both a salesman and a lot porter, and yeah, I can confirm that if you love cars, be a lot porter, not a salesman. I got to drive some cool stuff as a lot porter (Alfa 4c’s, Hellcats, Porsches, etc.) It’s not exactly a lucrative position though.

Because it sucks.

Translation: It’s for people who love money, not people who love cars.
