Luke & Danny’s interactions were my favorite parts of The Defenders. Give me Heroes For Hire where the tone is a little more light-hearted and with a kick-ass soundtrack for the fight scenes. Give it style & character

Exactly this. All anybody could talk about was “it’s going to be a beat-for-beat rehash of Empire” and when it ended up being very different people got mad.
