Awesome pic......but maybe we shouldn’t be parking them all close together like that?
Great. Can’t wait to see one of the local brodouches with this on his stanced out Cobalt in the Wal Mart parking lot.
You don’t like the SU-30?
That Su-30 is bad ass. Looks menacing.......
Thats awesome! Learn something every day. I am starting to get into WWII aircraft paint schemes for some reason. I really enjoy the obscure ones, like this. Thanks for sharing-
That’s awesome is that a real paint scheme? Looks like the Trop paint underneath from the Mediterranean conflict area. Early war
Is to me. Besides it’s subjective. 2x 37mm cannons on a single engine aircraft classifies as giant to me. Maybe singularly they aren’t giant but together they pack a giant punch.
I was going to go Dauntless but I have a soft spot for the Stuka. Yeah it was German but they used it to Blitzkrieg the whole European continent and Gullwings are cool. So are sirens and thr JU87G and it’s giant guns
COTD.
Junkers JU87 Stuka agrees with this post
I think it’s sexy. Good looking jet right there
With the help of a catapult and arresting wire.......
Really? The F18 is a compromise. About 75% capable in all aspects. It’s pretty good at everything but not great at anything. It needed the E/F complete redesign to address it’s issues. The F16 is the same airframe it’s been for decades save the Block 60 for UAE for the -132 engine.
Hades Bomb!
That’s the one I was missing. Not sure how since I used to build the engine control for the F110 engine and dealt with IHI directly for years........
Awesome Pic-
Those pics are scrubbed. If you look around you can find the not so PC pics that show charred, burned bodies.
When you wait your whole life or career to actually get into combat and fire off some real rounds I bet this was his response. A target rich environment, getting to do what you have trained so hard for, and itching to get into the fight all lead to statements like this
I’m not sure where you got that information from. A close friend of mine is an armorer/loaded for the 122nd ANG in Fort Wayne. He confirmed to me there are at least 3 types of ammunition they load-
