Nice.

There were two Awkward Zombies this week. This was posted on Monday 3rd.

And you can always count on PA to be well written and consistently and professionally illustrated. PA will always be able to get a meaningful thought and a punchline across in three panels when many others will struggle to manage six panels and frequently end up with a tsunami of text. I find Gamercat to be the worst

Same. I appreciate their observations and find amusement in their often dark and dry humor. The cold business realities of the video game industry that impact us, the people playing the games, is inherently unfunny, and that’s often what PA makes commentary on.

I think reading PA’s comic as hating on Epic is the wrong take-away. The point of the PA comic is less a personal opinion piece and more of a comment on how Epic is in the perfect position to absolutely dominate PC game sales in a way that would be a complete cultural paradigm shift.

“More prescient than funny” is a great way to describe Penny Arcade. I’ve always adored PA because its much closer to insightful videogame journalism in comic form than a humor-first comic medium.

I appreciated GamerCat, and I found Penny Arcade to be more prescient than funny.

Awkward Zombie remains golden, the rest were kinda weak imo

I for one believe him, when he says he didn’t mean any offense. It’s not like I know the guy, so when in doubt, I believe.

I want some receipts that you actually did shit for children in Yemen. C’mon, I’m sure someone who’s got such an UNBRIDLED FIRE IN HIS HEART to bitch at people on the internet actually did somethin’ for ‘em.

It’s evil is what it is.

I'd recommend reading the original article. The Postal 2 tweet is definitely defendable, as the gravestone is hard to read. In the Won'tBeErased tweet, he thought the hashtag was people talking about old movies, games, and books they didn't want to disappear. Then to learn that he was never allowed a chance to

how people on the internet angry about the Tweets allegedly discovered his identity and tracked down his father to say he should be fired.

I get him not hearing of Gamergate. I’d learned to loathe Sarkeesian and feel the industry was wanking itself to death long before I’d heard of the stupid name it had apparently garnered. What I don’t get is him not hearing of it when a writer’s job is to write about things they hear of in more detail by going out

I was working at a target during the Cabbage patch doll Xmas time that year. That was when I gave up on humanity.  I have never been right since then. The horror.

There is no job which cannot be solved in some way by a shotgun axe.

Works story wise as well, Kylo only got rid of the mask because of Snoke. Once he got rid of Snoke he’s free to wear whatever he wants.

I thought that too, but it sorta makes sense. Kylo Ren and Snoke both wanted him to be a successor to Vader; Snoke meant in a more symbolic sense and was more concerned that he become a feared Dark Side warrior in his own right, but Kylo was fixated on just emulating Vader with his own original spin. It seems

It wasn’t encouraging when Rian changed them in TLJ just because he could, but that’s what happens when you don’t have someone with an over-arching vision in charge.
