First of all: bravo, that was fantastic.

Exactly - which is why so many of them who bitch about Twitter and are “ going to Parler” keep posting on Twitter.

Parler is a shitty, unnecessary service that was always doomed to fail, because while it gives conservatives what they say they want, they actually already get that from other services, and what they actually want they can’t get from a service that explicitly caters only to conservatives.”

Maybe the whole movie is about everyone expecting Shuri to become the new BP. She tries for a while, but by the end of the film she realizes that Nakia is the right person for the job, while Shuri continues as Queen/genius/tech supply.

who would want their ads next to a tweet that read “hang Mike Pence”?

They had contracts with scam companies (prepper food boxes, scam gold companies, “herbal” supplements, male “enhancement”) to do paid posts from high follower count influencers that would not be marked as adds.

Ads for Fox News, OANN, Newsmax, previews for Last Man Standing, The Ben Shapiro Podcast, the Proud Boys Pancake Jamboree, Toby Keith’s new album, Dilbert cartoons, Joanie Loves Chachi DVD sales, a Ted Nugent hunting trip, a Kirk Cameron Merry Covid Christmas sing-a-long, John Voight spotted skin cream, a Kid

I was all aboard the Shuri train until Letitia Wright started posting antivax and covid denial stuff on Twitter.

As somebody who is about the size of Winston Duke, I second him taking over the mantle of Black Panther. Bulky People representation! All the other Marvel superheroes look like they came straight off the Fashion Week runway.

I agree, the plots and arcs of the X-Men work much better in serialized format. It would also be a good way to set it apart from the Fox mutant universe, not to mention that it could potentially be a huge draw to Disney+.

I think Feige is being purposefully vague when he’s asked about the Netflix stuff. The shows aren’t coming back, ever, but they would have to be out of their minds to waste perfect casting like Cox and Ritter. I’m 99% certain they’ll be back, just not in their own shows/movies.

I’m with you. Maybe it’s because I have a weird soft spot for Roger Corman’s unreleased version, but it’s one of those franchises that I really want to see succeed. Blade is #1 on that list, though.

About what he said the Spider-Man 3: Everyone comes home for a cameo bogaloo:

I think X-Men have the problem that without having some sort of religious undertones mutants being ostracized in the MCU just doesn’t seem likely, superheros like spider-man, scarlet witch, and the hulk are seen as positives at this point in the MCU. trying to make a family disown their child over super powers is

I am desperate for one of the many Fantastic Four reboots to finally work. With so much re-investment in this property at what point do the execs tell us all to get lost!

I would kill for Marvel to do a “dark universe” line of movies based on the Midnight Sons comics from the 90's. Ya got Blade, Darkhold, Ghost Rider, Vengeance, etc...

The X-Men belong on TV and not on the big screen.  Hashtag Fight Me.

I hope they bring back Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Cage, Iron Fist (recasted) and Punisher.

I quite like the idea of Secret Invasion being a smaller-scale, spy-centric show about “who do you trust?” that has potential world-altering ramifications, but not in a “look out Radioactive Man, the sun is exploding again!” kind of way.
