The last 30 seconds of this (or most) film didn’t make it good or bad. And the unseen ending you’re describing is hardly different enough to change the film’s reception.

The connection between combat sports and sex is quite real and well documented (napkin summary: adrenaline + bloodflow = horny). That doesn’t matter, however, as this is fiction and the characters just have to believe that it is so.
