Short answer is yes. The design is certified and proven and with all the pre flight inspections it should be basically the same as a new or recently rebuilt plane.

Actually my wife had a similar experience. She would be going over for a meeting at a supplier or something and the border guards would be giving hell to make sure she wasn’t coming to take Canadian jobs. Was quite the opposite actually

My wife use to have to cross the border occasionally for work and even well dressed for an office job her car always got her extra scrutiny. Peeling clear coat, missing grill, and mismatched rims. It’s mechanically sound but we don’t spend any on the looks. It’s a daily beater.
