You can’t technically buy this, but still.

Oh yeah I forgot about that one. But even so I think the NX is the only place for an F-Zero ressurection anytime in the near future. MaybeFast Racing Neo is a good opportunity to test the waters.

If they ressurect F-Zero it will probably be on the NX. I feel like Mario Maker is probably the WiiU’s last big flagship game.

I’m very tempted to buy a WiiU just for mario maker, but it’s just a little to pricey to justify with the NX on the horizon. I think there will be a sequel on the NX, with a better level curation system. The NX is nintendos big opportunity—if they can leapfrog the ps4’s hardware they can regain 3rd party software and

It’s a hard decision for a company to make, but it sounds like the only options were “annoy our customers” or “risk the finances and online security of our customers”. I personally prefer the former.

It gets considerably easier at about 3 hours and you fall in love with it at about 10. If you can push yourself through those two hurdles you’ll be really glad that you did.

I took them to be something people made themselves but a) there are overarching rules for which cards you can make, that keep them from being overpowered and b) they’re really high quality so most people lack the skill and materials to just make their own. This explains why all of the political characters featured on

You know having a clear technique for eliciting an emotional response doesn’t make that response any less genuine.

I’m not sure thats real time combat, I could imagine it being turned based combat with really great animations, fit to the architecture of each fight.

I think Her Story is a perfect example of how the story can be a game itself. No one liked that game because of the search mechanics, they liked it because the story put them in the shoes of a detective more than probably any other mystery game.

Yeah I probably didn’t use the most true to life example, I chose Reno because the show gives a reputation that would make it accessible.

I think it’s more of a throwback to the dragonball days, when Goku was a cute little boy with a round belly and exceptional strength. Goku is the monkey king, which sort of got forgotten after the frieza saga, but dbs is all about bringing that back—goku becomes a god, which is the monkey kings whole jam.

Huh I wasn't aware of that. So maybe the sexualized interpretation isn't as exhaustive as I made it out to be but farm work and sexualization aren't mutually exclusive—look at daisy duke.

If you think that isn’t a sexualized and provocative pose I probably won’t be able to convince you, but granting that it is, the point is less “WONT SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN” than “this makes our town look like Reno and maybe we don’t want to attract the sort of tourist who would travel somewhere based on giant

Even if that’s the case, one expects it to function well.

Like it wouldn’t install or it wouldn’t run? I feel like you'd need a beast for this to run well.

Hail Mary Mallon was one of the best concerts I've been to in a minute. Plus they had DJ Abilities spinning (using actual turntables too).

Yeah maybe I'm being too optimistic but I think that the next generation of consoles will be forced to get creative again, by virtue of PC gamings increasing popularity and affordability. Those were definitley the days though.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Nice nerdery right there.

It felt like the story was finished at the end of Halo 3, while ODST and Reach always felt more like Halo 3 expansions than stand-alone titles to me. I haven’t played 4 or 5, so don’t trust my opinion, but it feels like the story had nowhere to go and having read this, I feel fairly certain I wouldn’t like them.
