I’ll be honest... I watched the first episode.  I was looking for a Willow show, not a “here’s a bunch of noble kids from the adults in the original movie” show.  And when Davis didn’t show up until the last few seconds, I was kinda done.

I have faith in Craig Mazin.  He pulled on the emotional threads of the first game, and brought some of the underlying themes and subtext to a more meaningful place.  He seems to be a good pairing with Druckmann, and and really bolster’s some of Druckmann’s narrative shortcomings.

Thank you!  I was always less concerned with whether Joel was justified or not, and with the fact that nobody ASKED Ellie what she wanted, and the Fireflies FIRST act was to kill the only known person immune.  That is absolute lunacy.
