Actually I think a show set in the 1920's-40's about the revolutionary Broadway creators (Kern, Hammerstein, Rodgers, Hart, Gershwin, Porter, Abbott, Robbins et al) could be fascinating, though these days it would be for a rather small niche audience, sadly.

This series showed a lot of promise, and had top-notch creators at the helm, but it was awfully frustrating to watch. Since Mad Men ended I was eager for another great 60s or 70s period drama, especially something with HBO behind it, but this wasn't quite it.

I guess many of the cons have only scored minor characters for their panels. At Wales this year they got fan-favorite Bronn, but otherwise it was more like Mace, Fat Walda and good-ol' Ros. Oh, and Shireen — that little Kerry Ingram is rather… grown up now, I must say.

I think the CinemaSins stuff ("everything wrong with X…") is much more annoying. Honest Trailers can be pretty funny, especially with truly crappy movies, redundant sequels, etc., but even with better-received films like, say, Magic Mike (and its aaaaaaaaaaabs).

I dunno, I laugh every time they refer to the Twilight guy as Shovelface. And their brutal assessments of terrible writing and acting are amusingly great at showing how godawful so many films are.
