one thing that really bothered me about the episode is, Finn takes the crown and then later we cut to Simon's remains and he still has his crown. Animation error? If so, a glaring one. If it was intentional, that'd be neat if there's some explanation.

Hm. I didn't think they were that bad. This was actually one of my favorite episodes ever (can't beat I Remember You though).
