I wish Obscured by Clouds got more love. Even though it's padded by instrumentals, I'm always knocked out by the glimpse into the time when Floyd was still a rock band. "The Gold It's in the…," "Wots…Uh the Deal," "Free Four," and "Stay" all rule.

Agreed. I spent an alarming amount of time falling asleep to side one of Animals. It's my go-to when I look up and realize I completely sold out to my corporate masters.

DO NOT PUT THEM IN THERE

I always thought of him as the British counterpart to John Fahey. Sorry to see him go, but it's been nice to revisit Pentangle on my iPod today.

It was better than I thought it would be, but it kind of left me cold. He really took the high road with the Axl stuff, which I appreciated, but at the end, it seemed like not much was said.

The only thing that's not going to change from last season is that I am in complete disagreement with the SNL reviewer on AV Club.

I don't want to sound queer or anything, but I would really like to make love to you tonight.

Chris Whitley.

Thin Lizzy is the most underrated band in the history of rock.

Good Dog Bad Dog was one of the last albums to knock me out immediately upon first listen.

Let's not forget the Moseyers.

No Tom Petty Love?
I admit I shouldn't be surprised, but from the debut album through Southern Accents, there's hardly a misstep.

It's also helpful to remember that his name was, indeed, Larry.

My son came home just the other day…
"Mr. Popper's Penguins is the story of a boy whose explorer father loves him but neglects him in favor of his career. Once the boy grows to manhood, he does the same thing to his former wife (Carla Gugino) and their daughter and son."

I LOVE MY DEAD GAY SON!

Obviously
Of COURSE Jack White named his son Henry Lee.

In Memoriam
RIP Ass Dan.

Pretty sure he was fired from Air America.

What the Forget.
