Oh, I don't doubt it. I'm not here to argue that the last 10 seasons of The Simpsons (give or take) are not terrible/unoriginal/suck ass.

There was a recent episode of The Simpsons that actually made that same point (Homer and Marge are a rehash of The Honeymooners, All in the Family, Fred and Wilma Flintstone, etc.)

Now I wouldn't say it is. But the early seasons of Family Guy had numerous scenarios and jokes that I would certainly argue were lifted directly from The Simpsons. Not to mention the family formula… Was it intentional? No fucking idea.

I wasn't trying to infer that critical reviews are statistics (although I can see how that can be taken from my statement). That would be stupid. Also I'm very aware that Avatar received a high percentage of positive reviews on RT. That's why I didn't mention the large amount of great reviews it got. I only mentioned…

Same here. For me, Terminator Salvation and 300 both had badass trailers, but sweet JESUS did I hate them both so much. They rank with Episode I in the top 5 most disappointing movie experiences I've ever had. Fuck that, make it top 3.

Saturday: Watched the extended edition bluray of LOTR: The Two Towers. Hands down the least enjoyable of the three. Every scene with Tree-Beard talking is pure torture. I know, I know, "IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE HE'S BORING, LULZ."
