In my opinion, kindling is the best way to start a fire.

Rated 90?

Really love watching The Dark Knight, but if you were to take a shot every time a cop gives an ABYSMAL delivery of a line…

Until the piranhas have flimsy robot legs like The Zookeeper's piranha (a la Futurama) I'm not interested.

It's almost as if Spader and Billy Crystal stuck their heads into the same beehive.

Urrite.

Couldn't 'like' your post enough. Didn't want to read more about the Oscars today, but this made it worth it. Laughed my ass off.

I'm going to SUUUUCK…

He figured out how to get the twinkie by laying on his back.

Well said. I've always been biased towards "brilliantly conceived, orchestrated, and filmed battle sequences" over relationships. That's for sure.

Yeah, sorry about that. Tried to correct myself in time.

Wait, you said AFTER the first 20 minutes. My bad.

I accept your argument for Shakespeare in Love, especially since my current gf is one of the "Shakespeare nerds" you speak of, lol.

Yeahhhh, I'd also suggest passing on Life is Beautiful. Definitely over-hyped in its day.

Sold!

Concerning Drive, my assumption for leaving the money (SPOILER: especially with a dead Albert Brooks) would be to once and for all clean up his tracks.

Watched the entirety of Band of Brothers. Simply a great miniseries. However, watching it right before the Oscars was a sad reminder of Shakespeare in Love's victory over Saving Private Ryan. Never going to get over that…

I concur. Stewart's "three 6 mafia, 1, martin scorsese, 0" joke alone made the night worth it for me. I certainly wouldn't say he bombed.

Pffff, totally not going to be watching the Oscars…

Yeah… Yeah! You're right, @avclub-e7be8d8e2b9e28afea9bd38a675cd65b:disqus! And Christian Slater was a part of us all along!
